Tom Alexander is a taxonomy expert with 26 years' experience in helping people find what they are looking for. Across large media libraries, e-commerce sites and in the third sector, he has built and maintained hierarchical vocabularies to structure and label digital assets, web content and internal knowledge. He has also worked with UXers, Content experts, Product Managers, Service Designers and UI Designers to improve the findability experience of digital products. He is now working to consolidate taxonomy, ontology, site search and information architecture as a four-pronged findability system to further improve the findability of Cancer Research UK's world-class content.
