Bonnie Bowes is a Senior Ontologist in Bloomberg’s Data Management Lab, where she models financial domain knowledge for the Bloomberg Semantic Model. Her team focuses on building ontologies and semantic models that bring structure and meaning to the diverse financial and news data powering the Bloomberg Terminal. Before joining Bloomberg, she worked across technology, energy, and government sectors. Bonnie is particularly interested in the intersection of language, data, and human understanding how semantic technologies can make information systems more transparent and intelligent. Bonnie is currently based in London.
