Rob Begley is the Electronic Document and Search Specialist in the Records Management team at the Medical Defence Union in London. He has worked in Information and Records Management (IRM) for 10 years in both the public and private sectors.

Rob completed a Post Graduate Master’s Degree in Information and Records Management at Northumbria University where his dissertation focused on the current level of knowledge on, and potential impact of, Blockchain technology on IRM.

A committed information professional, Rob is interested in emerging technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and how they may impact on IRM and the wider world.
