Véronique obtained her PhD in Linguistics, with a Natural Language Processing major, from the University of Paris VII in 2005. She then worked as a PostDoc at the Free University of Amsterdam for 6 years, on different projects combining NLP and Semantic Web representations, one typical project being CHOICE, from the CATCH program, where she worked together with the Dutch National Archives – Nederlands Instituut voor Beel en Geluid [1]. She is now working for more than 6 years at Elsevier on data representation and vocabularies development, QA and best practices, using all her research background in an industrial setting.
