He has worked internationally on business directories, taxonomy and thesaurus development, product and software design and development, product marketing, as well as sales, account management, customer support, and training, for a broad range of clients from numerous industries over the course of his career. Jim is currently Senior Product Manager, Taxonomy & Ontology Solutions at Synaptica, LLC, a provider of taxonomy and text analytics products and services. Jim has been with Synaptica for over 13 years. Based in Denver, Colorado, Mr. Sweeney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Colorado State University - Pueblo.
