Charlie co-founded and ran Flax, the open source search company for 18 years before joining OpenSource Connections, leading specialists in relevant search in early 2019. Charlie acts as as Managing Consultant at OSC and works with a number of clients across the world to empower their search teams to build powerful, scalable and accurate solutions. Charlie also runs the London Lucene/Solr Usergroup, regularly talks and writes on search-related subjects and is the co-author of Searching the Enterprise, published by Now Publishers in 2017.
