As a consultant at Dovecot Studio, Stephanie works to develop taxonomies and manage large-scale tagging initiatives for clients such as the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, General Mills, the UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, and the National Kidney Foundation.


Prior to taxonomy work, Stephanie worked in public and university libraries for over 15 years, most recently in an academic librarian role. Stephanie holds a Master of Information degree with a dual specialization in libraries and archives, and a Master of Arts degree in French Literature, both from the University of Toronto. During her studies, she also completed the Collaborative Program in Book History and Print Culture. In addition to her work with Dovecot, she works in the rare and antiquarian book trade.
