Terry Casey is the owner of Casey Indexing and Information Service. She has 27+ years of back-of-the-book indexing with publishers such as McGraw-Hill, Cengage, Ave Maria Press, Houghton Mifflin and EMC Paradigm. Her services also include taxonomy, controlled vocabulary, tagging and metadata work. Her experience spans content knowledge areas from hard sciences, medical, legal, and soft sciences. Terry holds a M.F.A degree in Creative Writing and Literary Editing and Design and began her career as a production editor at West Publishing Company. She has volunteered with American Society of Indexers, including as manager of the Digital Publications Indexing SIG, and has presented at its conferences.
