Nick Ammerman is an information management professional with specific experience in association and academic libraries, special collections, taxonomies, and bibliographic research. As the Library & Taxonomy Manager at the American Planning Association, he oversees a range of tasks related to information and knowledge organization and management. This includes managing APA's internal taxonomy, running the organization's physical and electronic libraries, liaising on tasks related to planning history, and consulting on information organization for other projects.

Nick has an MLIS degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a BA from the College of William & Mary. He previously worked as a librarian at Donors Forum (now Forefront), Illinois' state association for nonprofits and grantmakers, as well as Robert Morris University at Elgin.
