Fran Alexander
Consultant, The Carmarthen Group and Associates Consultants, Canada
Fran started her career as a writer and editor of dictionaries and thesauruses in the UK, and, as technology evolved, she specialised in knowledge organization, metadata, search systems, and digital archives. She is now an Information Architect, Taxonomist, and Ontologist and currently living in Montreal, Canada.
Aref Makooi
Freelance Consultant, UK
Aref has been working as an information professional for over 30 years. He achieved his PhD in early 90s. He has been working as a freelance consultant for the past 15 years working with private, public and international clients devising IA and UX strategies, research and user testing, taxonomies and metadata schema. Aref is an ISKO Executive Committee Member and currently lives and works in London.
Madi Weland Solomon
Independent Consultant/Advisor; Managing Director, Dots Music Shop, UK
A creative technologist with Director, Board, and Chair experience, Madi has held executive roles in Fortune 500 companies and specialises in information architecture, digital strategy and semantic technology. She has led business transformation programs from the ground up and has successfully introduced innovative products and new processes into operation by bridging the technical with social and cultural constructs. In addition to data expertise, she is also a studio voice-over artist, a trained musician, and the owner and Managing Director of Dots the Camden Music Shop in London.
